August 29 is an important day for MediaTek, because they are announcing their two new chipset on that day, Namely Helio P23 and HelioP30.
Helio P30 will be the most powerful SoC in the P series chipsets. It is expected to manufactured by TSMC's 12 nm Processor and to have four Cortex A72 CPU Cores clocked at 1.5GHz and another four Cortex A53 CPU clocked at 1.5GHz, which will capable to support Cat.10 connectivity, with a theoretical speed of 600Mbps.
The Helio P23 chipset is expected to built with 16nm Processor which will feature a Octa-Core CPU. And it is rumored to support 2K resolution videos and Dual camera setup. And also for supporting Cat 7 connectivity.
The devices with the new chipsets will likely to arrive at the end of the year, and MediaTek is expecting a 3 million shipment of Helio P23 and P30 in a month.
