On an event, Xiaomi has unveiled their new smartphone Mi 8 SE(Special Edition) along with Mi 8 and Mi 8 Explore Edition. Unlike the other two models Mi8 SE is a mid range smartphones with a down graded features compared to the other two Mi 8 models.
The Mi 8 SE comes with a 5.88 - inch Super AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution. Aspect ratio of the display is 18.7:9 and comes with a iPhone X like notch design.
The Xiaomi Mi 8 SE is powered by Snapdragon 710 SoC packed with a octa-core kryo 360CPU clocked at 2.2 GHz and Adreno 616 GPU. The Xiaomi Mi 8 SE has two variants - 4GB RAM+ 64GB internal memory and 6GB RAM + 64GB internal memory version.
Xiaomi Mi 8 SE comes with a 20MP front camera that can take better selfies at low light. And 12MP main sensor plus 5MP depth sensor with AI enhancements like beautification, bokeh and scene recognition.
The Xiaomi Mi 8 SE comes with a 3120mAh battery with QuickCharge 3.0 power technology through the USB Type-C port.
The pricing of Xiaomi Mi 8 SE is CNY 1799 for the 4GB+64GB and CNY 1999 for the 6GB+64GB version. And the device will be available in Black, Gold, Red and Blue colors.
