Microsoft Shutting down Cortana for Android and iOS.

We all know that Cortana is the virtual voice assistant by Microsoft. Which uses their Bing search engine for doing task and answering user's questions. Cortana is not only available in Windows OS, but also available in both Android and iOS. The initial release of Cortana was in 2014, 6 years ago and the stable release in Android and iOS was in 2019. The development of Cortana started in 2009 and is now available in various languages such as English, French, Portuguese, etc.

Now from a recent tweet from @MacRumor, Microsoft is shutting down Cortana for Android and iOS. In an Announcement, Microsoft has a plan to"shift toward a transformational AI-powered assistant experience in Microsoft 365 Apps", as a result they are stopping all the support for Cortina skills and eliminating Android and iOS. The Android and iOS app of Cortana being stopped in the early 2021.

Not only iOS and Android, but the Harman Kardon speakers are also integrated with Cortana Assistant. And asper the www.macrumors.com, Microsoft also have plans to stop the support for Harman Kardon invoke speaker system in 2021.
